DFE Funded Breakfast Club
We are delighted to share with you that are offering this free breakfast club to all our children within our primary school from Reception to Year 6, that is being funded by the Department for Education (DFE).
Wordsworth is be one of 2,000 schools that joined this scheme in September 2026, demonstrating our commitment to:

The breakfast club run's from 8.15am to 8.45am each day, where children will be provided with a free breakfast and a soft start into the school day, so that they are ready for their school day to start at 8.50am. We ask that children arrive as close to 8:15 as possible, unfortunately, children will not be able to join the breakfast club if they arrive after 8.30am.
A buffet style breakfast will be providing in the hall in line with the school food standards for England.
The breakfast club is run by our Wordsworth staff team known to the children. If you have any questions, please contact the office.
Kidzplay UK LTD
Kidzplay provides Breakfast and After School Clubs throughout Hampshire and offer a breakfast club and afterschool club at Wordsworth Primary and Nursery School.
With 7 clubs, we offer Ofsted registered childcare for children aged 4 – 11 years.
We strive to promote a happy and relaxed atmosphere, where parents are confident to leave their children.
